How to Stop Boring Beach Days 🏖️

Today was one of those days where even the shade felt too warm, the towels were too small, the sea was too cold — and somehow even the snacks didn’t hit right.
Here in Germany, it hit 38°C (about 100°F), which is rare. The nearest beach is three hours away, so we left early… and, of course, packed all the wrong stuff.

So here are my 10 non-negotiables for every beach trip — or even a full beach vacation.

Dries in minutes, packs tiny, and won’t hold onto that “beach day” smell like heavy cotton towels do.

Whether it’s a powder pouch or a soft brush, this keeps sand out of your bag, car, and home — and off your skin.

8. Waterproof Playing Cards
Perfect for games by the shore, on a boat, or even floating in the pool. No soggy deck ruining the fun.

9. Body Wipes
For when you’re salty, sweaty, and miles from a shower — these keep you feeling fresh until you can rinse off properly.

10. Water Ball
Light, fun, and guaranteed to get people moving. Ideal for quick games in the waves or on the sand.
