We’re Entering a New Chapter — And I Need YOUR Help To Shape It.
No Black Friday, no links — just a real talk about what’s coming next for GearUpYourLife.
Hey, Johannes from GearUpYourLife here…
and after what’s been a pretty intense weekend, I wanted to use today’s Sunday edition for something different.
Not deals. Not gadgets. Just something real.
The last few months have been a wild ride.
Back in September, this community had around 3,500 subscribers, and now it’s over 12,300 — which still feels unreal.
But today isn’t about numbers, it’s about you.
I want your honest feedback on these past few months.
I’ve been experimenting a lot many new videos, different newsletter topics, more product tests than I can count.
My goal has always been to make content with you, not just for you.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I haven’t had enough time to read your messages and replies , which, honestly, is what this community is supposed to be about.
(Though to be fair, some comments like “A sling bag? Are you gay?” probably didn’t need a reply anyway 😅)
So today, I’d love to hear from you.
Hit reply and tell me what you actually want to see more of
Home gadgets? Vlogs? Travel gear deep dives? Or maybe fewer sling bags? (I get it 😂)
This way, we can keep shaping GearUpYourLife together, and make sure the next few months bring the kind of content you actually love watching.
And speaking of that, the new video just dropped, and I genuinely think it’s one of my best yet.
It features LEVEL8, one of my dream sponsors, and for me, this one meant a lot.
When I first started, I got sponsorship offers from hearing aid companies and random Amazon gadgets with more one-star reviews than sales.
So yeah — being able to work with a brand I truly admire feels like a small dream come true.

Thanks again for being part of this journey —
for reading, replying, and helping me turn this project into something bigger than just travel gear.
Safe travels, guys.
